Four years after it reset the integrated-steel market, the PRX still asks a question no rival has answered: what exactly do you get for spending three times more?
Tissot publishes the numbers plainly — 40mm across, 10.9mm thick, 100m of water resistance, and a Powermatic 80 running at a leisurely 21,600vph to bank an 80-hour reserve. On the wrist those numbers translate into the whole trick of the integrated genre: a watch that wears flatter and wider than its diameter suggests, disappearing under a cuff that a diver of the same size would snag.
The bracelet remains the argument. Brushed flat links, butterfly clasp, no visible screws at this price from anyone else who takes themselves seriously. The clasp has no micro-adjust — the single specification where the benchmark shows its cost ceiling.
