The case is the headline: 9.95mm through, which is close to a full millimetre thinner than the Tissot at the same 40mm diameter, and the difference is legible on the wrist rather than only on paper. The clasp adds a toolless three-position micro-adjust — the exact feature the benchmark lacks — and the dial finishing is a tier the Tissot does not attempt.
What you pay for is the last ten percent. The SW200-1 is a good Swiss workhorse but banks only 38 hours against the Powermatic’s 80, and the street price is roughly double. That is a knowing trade, not a mistake, and the score reflects both halves of it.
