Atlas notes

At 42mm, the PD-1645 is a Datejust silhouette scaled up for people who find 36mm timid. Whether that is a feature depends on your wrist, and Pagani Design does not publish a lug-to-lug figure to help you decide. For a case this size, that is the number I would want first.

What the product page does tell you is better than the price suggests: a Miyota 8215 automatic, a sapphire crystal with sevenfold anti-reflective coating on both sides, a fluted bezel and 100 meters of water resistance. The sale price is $136.79 against a regular $151.99, which is why the band above runs to $152. It is 12mm thick, so it will not tower over a cuff.

The weak point is what the page leaves out. There is no power reserve, no accuracy claim, and the bracelet is a separate purchase: the watch ships with a leather strap set, and the Jubilee-style 20mm bracelet is a listed accessory at a further charge. A dress-leaning watch on a strap is fine. A Datejust homage without its bracelet is a costume missing a shoe.

So who is it for? Someone who wants the look and an automatic movement for the price of a night out, and accepts that the specification sheet is thin. If I wanted the same idea with documentation behind it, I would pay more for the Orient Bambino 38, which is smaller and plainer and tells you more about itself.
